The Simbu Festival WHAT IS A SING SING
Sing-sing is a gathering of a few tribes or villages in Papua New Guinea. People arrive to show their distinct culture, dance, and music. The aim of these gatherings is to peacefully share traditions as each island have their own dance. Villagers paint and decorate themselves for sing-sings which they only have once a year.
WHERE WILL IT BE HELD AND WHEN
The Simbu & Central Highlands Festival will be held in August 2022 (due to elections in PNG) in 2023 it will be held in July. The location is Simbu Province, between Goroka and Mount Hagen (you can fly to both airports to visit the Simbu Festival.

WHAT IS THE COST
A day ticket is 90 USD, you might think this is expensive but think about it will be the most amazing experience you will have. The cost or organising this event is huge, Most people come from far and need also accommodation and food. The orgnisation will pay for them + the winner will recieve prize money for the cultural benefit of their community.
